St Barnabas Home
St Barnabas Home, established in 1997, serves as a home for children who were orphaned, providing not only food and shelter but also love and education to these children. The home’s primary hope is for the children to be able to excel in life through education, despite the hardships they face. The children from St. Barnabas Home happily pose for pictures, as the children are always delighted to have new visitors. St. Barnabas Home greatly welcomes teachers to supervise and guide the children in their school work. Volunteers are also welcome to organize fun activities to enhance their knowledge and gain new experiences. The home is also in need of assistance in maintenance, such as a fresh coat of paint and minor repairs. All efforts are appreciated from the public, in the home’s effort to provide a better environment for the children.
Through TrEES’ community recycling program, the home is able to earn extra income from the sale of the recyclables, which is used for the daily expenses of the home. The recycling programme is also used as another training tool, to educate the residents in a variety of skills as well as to raise environmental awareness. So please, bring your recyclables and other items to help St. Barnabas Home continue their excellent work.
