For over forty years, the Selangor Cheshire Home has stood by its mission of creating opportunities for people with disabilities, helping them lead independent lives. The home’s economic empowerment program provides important training in life-skills that assists the residents to find a place in the working environment with confidence and independence. The Selangor Cheshire Home also cares for the permanently disabled with residential care complete with various services and activities, managed by a council of kind and loving volunteers.  The home welcomes volunteers at all times and also deeply appreciates donations in the form of cash or daily necessities. The residents, staff and volunteers would love to see you drop by!
Community Recycling ProgrammeThrough TrEES’ community recycling program, the home is able to earn extra income from the sale of the recyclables, which is used for the daily expenses of the home. The recycling programme is also used as another training tool, educate the residents in a variety of skills as well as to raise environmental awareness.  So please, bring your recyclables and other items to help the Selangor Cheshire Home continue their excellent work.
