Pusat Cahaya Kesayangan Back to previous page

Warmth and excitement exudes from the ladies in Pusat Cahaya Kesayangan – home and day training centre for intellectually different women and girls. Established in 2002, the centre strives to assist, train and support, intellectually different women –  some suffering from mentally impaired illness, some abused women – to lead independent lives.  Through daily activities and training sessions, the centre hopes to improve their education, confidence and discipline. While the centre is generally successful in achieving their daily needs, the administrator wishes that public volunteers would occasionally drop by the home for a visit, organize some games or sing-along. The genuine smiles of happiness from the women there will not disappoint.

Community Recycling ProgrammeThrough TrEES’ community recycling program, the home is able to earn extra income from the sale of the recyclables, which is used for the daily expenses of the home. The recycling programme is also used as another training tool, to educate the residents in a variety of skills as well as to raise environmental awareness.  So please, bring your recyclables and other items to help the Pusah Cahaya Kesayangan continue their excellent work.
