Millions of people, from all walks of life, regularly enjoy the beautiful treasures of Malaysia's natural environment - from walks in neighborhood parks, to snorkeling lazily above the coral reefs, to extreme eco-adventures. But with the growing pressures on the natural environment, how long will these priceless treasures remain intact and continue providing for our needs?
We need to care for the environment as much as we love enjoying the environment. Caring begins with each and every one of us as individuals. We often ask the question, "What difference can I make?"
It is our combined impact which makes a difference. If each one of us takes simple steps to care for the environment, then together these actions will make a difference. We have to take ownership of improving our own, our children's and our community's daily quality of life, now and in the future.
