International Awards Received
TrEES won the 2008 & 2006 National Country Energy Globe Award for Malaysia. The prize awarded by Energy Globe, The World Award for Sustainability, is awarded to projects worldwide that make careful and economical use of resources and employ alternative energy sources.
In 2006, TrEES ran a “Stick and Save” campaign aimed at encouraging corporations to conserve paper. The campaign promoted pasting transparent stickers on the glass surface of their photocopiers with the message "Use both sides of paper and recycle after". Arc Worldwide, a part of Leo Burnett Malaysia, received a gold Lion at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in July 2007 for the campaign concept and design.
